i think this is like how to me dubstep is skream and goth trad whereas to most ppl it's skrillex. the uk bass lineage is just more relevant to my culture than the gentrified shit. cos yeah these same kinds of ppl still live in london, this is what they play, what they listen to

this is what drum and bass is at carnival. it connects the lineage from the roots of uk bass thru to the origins of garage, dubstep, broken beat. metalheadz and 4hero are the core of what i think of as dnb and, surprise, what everyone who is influenced by it actually calls it
