the current govt of taiwan historically has had nothing to do with taiwan, rather, it was the old chinese govt that was ousted from china and fled to taiwan around 1946. it’s spent most of the time since then trying to declare sovereignty over china, as has china over taiwan

the purpose of taiwan for the usa is to encircle china militarily ahead of a kind of duel of the fates for the usa’s right to continue raping the developing world for resources, and to economically safeguard its access to taiwan’s world-leading microchip industry

personally i’d prefer to live in a chinese world order. the regime is extremely benevolent towards countries outside its claimed territories, doesn’t have a recent history of imperial expansion, has a much stronger social fabric than the west, and has been overall improving

when it comes to the dark aspects of leninism, repression of minorities and working culture. it’s gone backwards for censorship but overall, decline is much less pronounced than in the west. the west has no future [7/7]
