google sheets has started deleting history quite aggressively so it’s no longer certain that full history will be recoverable… i wanted to turn the il history into a full database of dated records, worked on it a lil july 2022 but it’s a hard task to do solo

i cleaned up the historic snapshots of the sms il leaderboards, whose new home is at https://history--smsilview.netlify.app. the old perma/perma2 links may get taken down later, idk, dunno if i’d be able to redirect them

as it is there’s a decent amount of backups in my communal repo and more could be ported over to the history hub/viewer app, but it’d take lots of munging/cleaning

what we have now is eh, alright. records still aren’t actually saved but it is what it is

it’s a long process built up over 6.5 years, from a sheet + solid prac codes to rulesets, verification, score calcs, engine, viewers, defence vs deletions, anonymisations, and history tracking. for me, 2023 was about getting the engine+viewer right; it’s a good spot to leave it
