i was chatting w/ a friend who told me he'd read back over the tareq discord case, that nebuladiv stuck out to him because he intentionally solicited porn from minors. my reply was ofc – that never happened? [1/12]

i was aware this libel was in the case and publicly corrected it (https://twitter.com/shoutpolenta/status/1584049820054228993) but then on a walk by barnes riverside, i watched the sunset and thought, i worked that case so i share responsibility. was never happy i tried hard enuf to edit the doc. so i asked a mod

the next message sees someone supporting libelling nebuladiv. i tried to assume he was ignorant of the case content. however, the community's reflexive defence of social abuse is a bit 🧐 abusery?

looking at the document 6 days later, it seems rather indicated by the use of bold (the exact word underlined!) that this lie (that's still up) was intentional, even? and of course, given zeldocto expressly declined to edit it, it is now clearly malicious if it ever wasn't

fwiw, i made absolutely sure there was no scope that they can flip this on me over "bad communication" or take advantage of my history of being ignored by anmaku/lilgreenyoshi/ian_lc when reporting situations they needed to act on

often w/ the sms players, i feel they lean into passive bullying, so not writing lies but refusing to retract them, bc they think that sells better to their bully-minded peers

as for who wrote the lie, i don't have the access to find out, but i feel like this guy is a good bet?

jpep led this nebuladiv doc so it's his final responsibility anyway, + he invented the 1upsforlife abuse accusation so it wouldnt be the only time. breh looks like a kind of social supervillain lmao

for me, this is nothing i didn't already know. but it still messed up my head to be able to point to a case that i don't stand to benefit from at all and say, well,

this proves they are terrible people. that the sms community is basically run by abusers for abusers

and that socially abusing ppl they don't like has become a dominant in-group pattern. which explains everything around me, cos i am some1 they don't like

it's why when warspyking was on trial and the outcome was "yeah i did all that", the consequence he got was the privilege of more time as mod

and tho all agreed the 1ups accusation was false, they protracted/lied about it as long as poss to where.. it's also still up to this day
