i noticed in healthygamergg’s analysis of suicide from the other day that one of the flowcharts for causality had a separate source just labelled “betrayal” that wasn’t brought up in the discussion

but i’ve seen it said sometimes on twitter too [1/5]

it’s easy to forget about bc it doesn’t neatly fit into boxes of abuse, but it’s traumatic still, actually pretty incredibly so given its nature. cos i suppose your whole mental stability is based on trust and what you can expect from the world

a lot of my efforts with 1upsforlife have been directed at dismantling conspiracy, so it kind of starts with realising someone is trying to destroy you and fighting back to defend yourself within the sphere of other people. establishing facts and motives

but betrayal is just in the sphere of you and the other person, or stretching to a group betrayal, so fighting is futile

and a lot of the pain i’m expressing is just betrayal. there’s trauma, fear, but much of it is straight sadness i think

i have some ideas for handling it

as for the conspiracy, i figured it out. i realised the clearest picture is given by just reading the raw dms, so i’ll make them all available to anyone trustworthy who wants to know what happened

it’s a huge trip to read them after years of ppl entrenching alternate histories
