while things are like this though, nobody is safe from a rape accusation fixing it is two-pronged – fix the societal understanding of consent, and elevate the severity of false accusation/defamation to match that of the thing being claimed

i don’t think sexual ethics are hard to understand (consent stems from positive signalling and power balance), but otoh fake feminism like this empowers people to abuse each other with false accusations, reinterpretations of their hurt as someone else’s harm, etc
