it's a story of encountering a beggar. kendrick narrates his entire thought process behind deciding to not give him a single dollar. drawing on his whole life experience. then the beggar mask-reveals as God and tells him that dollar cost him a place in heaven

so isn't the problem then that people aren't allowed to be wrong? it doesn't matter how relatable your logic is, if it's wrong then it just gets crushed and you're in hell
when we think why religious people are so steadfast in their beliefs, this fear deep down would explain it

believing being lgbt is a sin is the least of our worries compared to everything stretching from going on the crusades to commiting the gaza genocide
ppl are still personally responsible but like, is this what we say when children are groomed into terrorism? it's not their fault

there's a line in there somewhere. but i hope i've explained why i have this unexpected empathy for people like markinator given my anti-religion stances. especially given his tolerance and lack of acting on his views
