@shrando1 @dissocial_ christianity is one of the biggest sources of, if not transphobia, certainly homophobia, and it’s dangerous to dismiss that kind of correlation as rly being due to some sort of unexplained unrelated hatred towards lgbt

@shrando1 @dissocial_ there aren’t that many reasons ppl would hate lgbt other than being told to by their elders, scriptures, traditions. many religious ppl explicitly state that this is why they’re anti-trans, this being no exception

@shrando1 @dissocial_ it makes it clearer to me that the institution of religion is what needs to be challenged more than anything

this is all assuming mark is actually lgbtphobic in beliefs, which seems likely given he’s deliberately hiding his views
