people treat their victims with such incredible contempt and unaccountability and it flies. they campaign to eliminate someone and their friends don’t ask questions. it doesn’t matter if someone is given no route to making things better, if it is just kneeling on eir neck

till ey passes. it still is just accepted as a way to treat someone. it feels like there are some values such as being sorry and reacting to pain that i depend on to see eye to eye with people but that just don’t exist anymore

surviving gaslighting feels like the hardest thing in the world. cos if ppl were honest then i’d at least have known about the pain i’d endure and tried a different path

maybe it doesn’t matter cos it rly was just over when my friendships were cut and i was kicked down the void

i’m gonna write an account of this called “pretend world” and it’s another thing that’s crucial to get right

i just don’t understand how this looks to them. what stops people from showing mercy? why don’t they ever talk and de-escalate despite all the pain it also brings them?

some of the dirtiest gaslighting is actually the attempts to pretend people can’t be talked to or past mediations failed, and to blame the victim for lack of apology. ppl will recognise both of these from both sdll and sms
