it's just stupid to define male/female in terms of how ppl want to be seen, same as it's stupid to classify everyone as being male/female/neither. they're just labels that are applied contextually as indirect abstractions of the two poles of the sex spectrum

the most you can say is you want to be thought of as male/female/neither, and that's fine. that's the point of social transition. some do it to alleviate pain, some do it aesthetically or politically, but it's a free world and life is too short to judge

like you might refer to a transman as a father at a wedding, and you might refer to period products as for women. ppl only see contradictions bc they take words too literally and don't dynamically interpret abstract concepts per-context. that's the mistake w/ inclusive language

anyway, i find transmed-type activists to be wayyyy less cringe than TRAs & TERFs, but even then it's hard to find ones who don't have obnoxious geopolitical views or arent hateful/judgemental of random trans ppl or too gatekeepy of trans identity
