i’m impressed how they find novel ways to stick the knife in sometimes

well, that’s one way of saying “i made it cos ppl who claimed to be my friends didn’t care that i couldn’t participate”

few ppl contribute to it cos they realise that, cos it’s accuracy-oriented, they can get the best of both worlds by ignoring it

but some go further than that

they submit a single token speedrun, or in one case, a single token *comment* on a speedrun, then go back to ignoring it. it’s so dirty to look at those

ppl readily acknowledge that they use the accurate leaderboards

yet when the time comes to discuss lb accuracy,

they break their promise to include me in the discussion, instead arguing in favour of erasure – a concept came from me, so let’s not discuss it cos i’m not there

i made a framework that solved the problems they’re discussing and dominated the market for it

and they fully admit he is that, then buy themselves time to further “discuss”, invent centrist positions and leave them hanging after getting debunked after i share them around

i’m amazed how fast gratitude for my work evaporates as soon as i move on and stop campaigning
