this whole concept of the toxic victim amazes me still
it kinda starts w/ having to perform a personality that attracts admirers and repels abusers. there're some weird rules there. then when that fails and u get abused, u have to perform a kind of persuasion that

gets ppl to care, while not turning them against you. ppl want to believe u deserve what happened to u cos it simplifies their ethical dilemmas around guilt and selfishness. but they needn't even go there if they can just forget it happened

you're always judging what ppl mean by their cognitively dissonant, concealed reactions, while they're judging you on whether ur being a good enough victim
isn't the play to lift yourself out of the cycle of judgement? stop having opinions and stop being the subject of opinions
