what happens when the guilt gets too high?

what happens is they become desperate to stop the pain and to efface the person reminding them of what they did. so they reinvent the narrative to blame the victim

thats vaguely what i saw there; some1 even admitted + recovered from it

but it’s much more starkly demonstrated by jpep and peaches, who are the guiltiest people i’ve ever seen

people commit incredibly hard to victim-blaming cos it becomes their protection from feeling the guilt. that’s led these 2 into those long-term lying/bullying campaigns

there’s a conversation between me and jpep from 2022/8/20 that shows these burning feelings of guilt and paranoia, and connects them to desperation to make sense of it as an inevitable evil that i was bringing down on him. the evil seemed to be what was reminding him of his past

i’ll make these available to the ppl looking into what happened someday

these convos kill the narrative that i was terrorising him/1ups with aggressive narratives about other people and coming for them next

his paranoia will resonate w/ some, showing the dark path it leads down

but to come back to the question at the top,

guilt isn’t progress at all. idk what *is* progress, but guilt seems to be nothing more than a risk factor for victim-blaming for most people [6/6]
