on one hand, at least they’re showing initiative. this is partly due to ppl who talk better activism disappearing over and over w/ no follow-thru, as well as the number of ppl who don’t help yet are quick to back the first “progress” they see, no matter how insidious it is

but the result is the narrative managed to turn into this goofy plan to collaborate with abuser-in-chief warspyking on an announcement “taking back” some of the abuse

it’s one thing doing this if they don’t understand what warspy did, including all the prior doubling down on abuse, but we’ve gone past that point – there’s a clear case to ban him and everyone wants rid of him as a mod afaik
