i rewrote the engine *again* within less than a month and like… i realised that’s how ur meant to do programming actually. u use ur shit for a bit, figure out what should change, then rewrite most of it from scratch

and i realised it’s a big part of why my software tends to be peerlessly reliable, among ppl i’ve known/worked with

cos things that are buggy or break are things that are too cryptic for me to visualise afk, so i get itchy to ditch them and my subconscious cooks up alternatives
