it was a noble effort from me but the world isn’t ready to reckon with the damage that manipulating ppl to cut someone off with false accusations of abuse can do someone genuinely told me i was still talking about this to get “revenge” …

i used to say i chose to stay away from building meaningful relationships to prevent lumardy/1upsforlife
from happening again but i realised it’s… not a choice. lol i was deluding myself into thinking i had a choice

it’s actually a profound, rational trust problem i developed

i dealt with 2 irl conflicts last week, one where i had to cut someone off (low-stakes, but nonetheless clear, predatory manipulative behaviour) and one where i simply got a bad reaction for opening up about smth sensitive from our past

and i realised i’m actually just *unable* to handle conflict anymore. i didn’t tell the first guy why i cut him off. for the second, i indicated strongly i didn’t wanna talk about it anymore (and would be fine not talking to her at all anymore, that’s how much i can’t stand it)
