i dealt with 2 irl conflicts last week, one where i had to cut someone off (low-stakes, but nonetheless clear, predatory manipulative behaviour) and one where i simply got a bad reaction for opening up about smth sensitive from our past

and i realised i’m actually just *unable* to handle conflict anymore. i didn’t tell the first guy why i cut him off. for the second, i indicated strongly i didn’t wanna talk about it anymore (and would be fine not talking to her at all anymore, that’s how much i can’t stand it)
