a normal person, say a heterosexual, will read it as a relatable account of sexuality being based mostly on sex presentation, using the terms man/woman to signify the concepts that are most relevant to the point being made

a normie will see the TRA as trying to gatekeep the meanings of “woman” and “homosexual” by politically othering the person

and that’s true – there is no room for people who share this concept of sexuality in that ideology. that’s regardless of which concept is considered right

because you can never change which associations someone most strongly makes with concepts simply by redefining the words in a politically-correct or inclusive way

that’s getting at why some bisexuals like me consider gender ideology homophobic (it erases our experience)

the issue is that the TRA is right that often these takes correlate with transphobia. this person is actually a transsexual separatist i think, but could easily have been a TERF arguing that being trans anything is a disingenuous scam directed at women and children

to recap, if gender ideology contradicts or slanders someone’s lived experience then ey will oppose trans rights. whose fault? the TRA who conflated the two
