for example, u have as a speedrunner to deal with these event organisers who sugar-daddy communities by bringing streams, audiences and cash prizes, so can get away with all sorts of shit in terms of how they run the event and treat people. this was esa in sms in 2021

i tried to ask to comm the upcoming gsa sms lta, and thanks to this ban, not only did i get rejected, not only banned from gsa discord, but i had to deal with the kind of twat that thinks that communicating with a person as an organiser is an entitlement

i've seen this behaviour from speedrun .com (starsmiley) as well and this was my take on it

it's similar to how people these days associate ideology with inherent moral goodness, despite it just being smth they learnt from their friends

people who are falsely accused of things are among the most vulnerable, so it's cruel to treat them like this, and i don't see it as entitlement. if anything, after my "entitlement" to not being tortured by a building site or falsely accused of abuse are trampled,
