so in nov 2020, i timed ricco-late route vs normal to see how much my (terrible) sms any% runs were losing on it. answer was 1.6s. but i didn't half raise an eyebrow when i saw this load
no1 knew shit about loads back then so i just excluded it from my average and moved on

when oat wii (guy2308 1:13:17) was scrutinised and ppl declared (w/o proof) it was hard-modded, it became important for lb accuracy to get more data. got a load retime of the 1:13:17 out, looked at those "impossible" 2.76 min, 2.84 avg loads
and went "but wait i saw a 2.60 once"

so i load-retimed The Run Whence It Came (toobou 1:14:22 pb from 2020) and... it's 3.9s faster on loads than guy 1:13:17

word on the street is @toobou changed wii for no apparent reason and this *doesn't apply* to his latest 1:13s + 1:13:41 3rd-place time. if anyone has more info, that'd be grand
i wonder what happened to his old wii, last seen movin like the jellyfish on plastic beach

but ye, i will assess the hardware evidence when i gather it but odds are i'm reinstating guy 1:13:17 as wr. just know it's 6s slower than jj 1:13:30 on gameplay, nobody can source these fast-loading wiis and sms might wanna consider loadless timing LMAO
