it’s also clear who has good knowledge. i once co-commed w/ 1 of the btrl comms; he declared that rope entry only saves 1s over cliff so is nbd to learn

@schmittd_11 @PumpMan999 i feel like ur last tweet denies the experience of goin ur whole life missing out on chances and bein left out to dry, by say a friend group, bc you can’t be popular/fit in. it manifests in these situations, whether for “fun” or a job interview, hence me caring about merit at all

@schmittd_11 @PumpMan999 i even did monologues like this in my race comms, cos i realised i didn't need to cover every level and it was better content to go deep. but lta is rly perfect for it cos it's essentially asynchronous. u rarely need to interrupt to comment on a breaking event

@schmittd_11 @PumpMan999 and over many hours, there aren't that many times where you're saying anything so deep. the key is diversity. focused stuff vs lightweight stuff (pace overviews, donations, chats about random life things etc.). there's time for it all
