urgh whenever i write about classism or ableism i always get so anxious about the fact that nobody gives a shit, like
that thing when (1) i have to deal w/ dickhead friends' and mods abuse apologism only to be told "wow this accusation means you're saying i'm a terrible person"

yet (2) when this happens with racism, people are conditioned to go "i'm sorry if xyz and i will work on subconscious abc"
you just know they'll treat ableism as #1 not #2 and that the hypocrisy means they missed the point of response #2 and just parrot what's expected of them
