b4 i finally dip to bed after getting that off my back, i wanted to reflect on why i fell apart defending myself and it took so long
the approach they + the mods took to making it indefensible was super-effective and tore straight into my existing secretive-ostracisation trauma

i wonder if i could’ve not lost my shit and just let it go. cos unlike the first time, this secretive ostracisation didn’t cost me any real friends. i was ok with losing them and knew better than to die on a hill over it

the reason it hit me so hard is that i understood what humans are – the best friend i ever had, the knights widely perceived to be good. the skin-deep love, manipulation and hatefulness. the first time wasn’t just a “cosmic joke” then. it’s what’s to come if i decide to move on
