or at least i could before i found a completely different way to ruin my life
still though for me this exchange represents how people are held hostage by unhappiness. habits are so ingrained that you spend your whole life trying to escape them

a bad habit i dramatically fled post-uni was overwork. the result being i couldn’t fit into pre-pandemic capitalist working culture and became a waste
what i’ll never escape tho is my idleness and inability to make changes and ask for what i want
