i wondered how 8485's plague town would sit in the electronic soul eps in my stream. its simplified harmony belies its lyrics, which i prefer to the other eps. feels like real thoughts, only slightly abstracted like in a dream. it has my romantic nostalgic pov. it's how i'd write

i feel the world as a bunch of ghosts of different concepts of love personified by real things from the past i wasn't a part of. sometimes i was there, others it was a parasocial conceit. i get lost in that second-hand fuzzy feeling while insulating myself from real loves

i worried i'd not be able to handle this kinda music at all, and have broken down a few times, but i'm more surprised how long i can live in these dreamlike states while awake. then i realise it's how i've always lived, the diff being i once had resilient hope of making it real

to tell the truth i was back then, still am, just salty i could never make friends w/ ppl i picked cos of this, meaning i saw in them ideas i wanted to better express in myself
(ig i now have to reiterate that case i mentioned the other day is based on stuff unrelated to this)
